Archie Rose – Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Archie Rose Single Malt is an Australian single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from six malts rather than the usual one or two, which the distillery uses to build a richer, more varied flavour. The whisky is matured mainly in toasted and charred Australian apera casks, alongside ex-bourbon casks and ex-rye casks that were air-dried for 36 months. On the nose there are fresh herbs, shortbread biscuits, raisins, toffee and dark chocolate. The palate turns to sticky date pudding, amaretto and espresso.
