This Syrah from Sicily is an intense ruby red with violet reflections. The nose opens with blackberry and ripe cherry, followed by black pepper and Mediterranean herb notes, with light floral hints.
On the palate it is balanced, medium to full bodied, with measured tannins and lively, juicy fruit. The finish is savoury and pleasantly persistent, with spice and a soft note. Serve at about 16-18 °C.
