Ardbeg – Trudernish 15 Year Old (48.8%)

Ardbeg Trudernish 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48.8% ABV and not chill-filtered. It is the first new addition to Ardbeg's permanent range since 2020. The whisky was matured for fifteen years in bourbon casks, new charred oak casks and Oloroso sherry casks. It keeps the distillery's smoky character while adding a rounder, vanilla-led side and a creamy texture. Earthy peat and wood smoke meet vanilla, orchard fruit, chocolate and nuts, with a fresh, minty, vegetal note. The name comes from an old hamlet on the Ardtalla estate in the south of Islay.
