Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced 'Oog-a-dal') is a heavily peated, cask strength single malt from Ardbeg Distillery on Islay. First launched in 2003, it is bottled at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from a mix of bourbon casks and older sherry casks, a combination that gives a velvety texture and a sweet, smoky finish. On the palate there are tar, chocolate, peat and spearmint.
