This Ardlair is an 11 year old Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, distilled in 2010. It is a small batch vatted from three butts, bottled for the Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Cask Parcel series.
It is described as rich and deep, with wood spice and creamy dark fruit.
The nose combines wood polish, vanilla ice cream with blackberry coulis, warm sandalwood and fresh jasmine. The palate brings dark runny honey, baking spices, Madagascan vanilla and orange oil, with earthy forest floor notes of damp ferns.
