Ardlair 15 Year Old 2011 Refill Oloroso Sherry Butt Cask 900036 Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection (64%)

A 15-year-old Highland single malt from Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, drawn from a single cask. It was distilled in 2011 and matured in a refill Oloroso sherry butt, then bottled unfiltered at a cask strength of 64%. The whisky is a deep ochre in colour. It comes in a black cylinder tube with orange accents. The nose is led by honey, nuts and dark dried fruit. On the palate there are classic sherry notes, vanilla and a firm oak spice. The finish is very long, ending on nutmeg and sharp ginger.
