This is an Ardmore single malt from 2012, called Cask Noir, bottled by Brave New Spirits at 58.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Ardmore stands in Kennethmont, south of Huntly, right beside the railway line between Aberdeen and Inverness. It is sometimes counted as Speyside and sometimes as the eastern Highlands. Wm Teacher and Sons built the distillery in 1890, and it has had eight stills since 1978. It has belonged to Jim Beam since 2005.
