This is Ardnahoe Bholsa, a single malt Scotch from the Islay distillery of Ardnahoe. The nose opens with peat smoke, berries and ripe orange, with spice in the background. On the palate come red fruit, walnuts and orange peel, then raisins, dates and ripe plums, all underpinned by Islay peat. The finish is long and peppery.
