Ardnahoe – Bholsa (50%)

Ardnahoe Bholsa is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, named after the Bholsa caves near the distillery on the island. It is bottled at 50%, the strength Ardnahoe prefers. The casks are mostly Oloroso sherry, which gives the whisky depth and a rich spiciness, in a traditional, full-bodied Islay style. No colour has been added and it is not chill-filtered. It is described as having strong peat smoke, ripe plums and sweetness.
