Ardnahoe – Infinite Loch (50%)

Infinite Loch is the first core release from Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay. It is a single malt Scotch matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 50% ABV without added colour or chill-filtration. The name comes from Loch Ardnahoe, which sits a short distance from the distillery and is known locally on Islay as the 'Infinite Loch', because no one knows the extent of its hidden depths. The nose combines sea spray and coastal peat with orange oil, salted lemons, malt biscuits and cocoa. The palate is sweet and salty, with menthol, fresh fruit and the embers of a beach bonfire, and the finish carries peat smoke, citrus and a little pepper.
