Ardnamurchan AD/07.21:05 is a single malt from the Ardnamurchan distillery in the Scottish Highlands, bottled at 46.8%. It combines 65% whisky from bourbon casks with 35% from sherry casks, made from barley malted half peated and half unpeated. The whisky is five years old or a little more.
The colour is bronze. The nose is musty, with sour cherries and melon juice, alongside malt sweetness, bourbon vanilla and light peat. The palate brings orange bitters, praline, salted peanuts and milk chocolate, with green pears, oak and vanilla. The finish is medium to long, clean and a little smoky.
