Ardnamurchan AD Sherry Cask Release is an annual single malt from the Ardnamurchan Distillery in the West Highlands, in a 700ml bottle. It is the most heavily sherried expression in the Ardnamurchan range, with no ex-bourbon barrels involved.
The 2026 release draws on 25 casks: 10 butts of peated spirit and 15 hogsheads of unpeated spirit, all sherry wood, with Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez named. The distillery was built in 2014 by Adelphi Distillery Ltd on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.
The series is typically noted for dried fruit, bonfire smoke and hazelnut praline, with sweet sherry, then lingering smoke, woody spices and salted caramel.
