A seven-year-old Ardnamurchan single malt from Decadent Drams, made as a follow-up to Whisky Sponge Edition No. 100. It is a smaller undertaking, with a slightly lower target bottling strength of 53%.
Three octaves went into the vatting. Two related octaves from the 2017 vintage, peated and previously holding refill Oloroso sherry, spent about four months together with an octave from 2018, unpeated and from first-fill Oloroso casks.
The aim was a rich profile of peat, small-cask influence and sherry that is ready to drink straight away.
