This is an Arran single malt from a single sherry butt, bottled at 57.7% ABV. The spirit was distilled at Lochranza on 14 May 2013 and bottled on 31 July 2024, giving it eleven years in cask. The outturn was 590 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The sherry butt shapes the whole whisky. The nose combines dark chocolate, caramel and roasted coffee beans, with a little dried fruit and warm spice. On the palate it is full-bodied, with sherry, dark chocolate and burnt caramel, and well-balanced spices that add warmth. The finish is long, with roasted coffee, chocolate and a gentle peppery heat.
