Arran 17 Years Old is a 2023 limited edition single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Only 12,000 bottles were produced. All 17 years of maturation took place in first and second fill sherry hogsheads and first fill bourbon barrels, and the blend was overseen by James MacTaggart.
The nose is sweet at first, with red fruit, vanilla and toffee, deepening to caramelised cooked fruit. The palate starts fresh, then turns to warm toffee, apples and hazelnuts, with milk chocolate and spiced biscuits. The finish is medium in length, with cinnamon, liquorice and pineapple.
