This is an Arran single malt released to mark the 10th anniversary of Master Distiller James MacTaggart. It was distilled in 2007 and matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks, then bottled at 54.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The edition runs to 12,000 bottles worldwide.
The notes mention vanilla, honey, citrus, ripe fruit and toasted oak. The finish is long, warming and spicy, with fruity sweetness balanced against the influence of the oak.
