Arran 2012 Private Cask is a single cask Arran single malt from an ex-bourbon barrel, with 245 bottles filled. It was distilled on 13 November 2012 and bottled in June 2022 at 60% ABV, after nine years in the cask. It is unfiltered.
The nose opens with warm vanilla, pineapple and soft citrus oil. The palate brings honey, creamy toffee, fresh oak and a hint of white pepper. The finish is long, with coconut, mousse-like vanilla and soft fruit.
