This is an Arran single malt from 2012, bottled as a Private Cask at 55.8%. It was matured in a quarter cask and then finished with Flierelfluter Tripel beer, and only 192 bottles were filled.
The nose combines rich malt, honey cake, a soft hoppy freshness and vanilla from the small cask. The palate is intense and creamy, softly sweet, with hints of tripel beer, apricot and citrus alongside a malty punch. The finish is long, warm and spicy.
