This is a thirty-year-old single malt from Arran, matured in a mix of sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels. The distillery at Lochranza draws on water from the island, which runs through the Easan Biorach falls.
The nose is mandarin and orange with ripe apple, a little vanilla and hints of oak. The palate brings runny honey and soft toffee, with vanilla and oak. The long finish returns to orange, followed by sweet toffee and light oak spice.
