Arran – 6 Years Old Single Cask 2019/2729 For The Netherlands (70cl, 57.5%)

This is a six-year-old single malt from the Arran distillery at Lochranza, on the Scottish island of Arran. It was distilled in 2019 and bottled from a single cask, number 2019/2729, for the Dutch market. The strength is 57.5% and the bottle holds 70cl. The nose is fresh, with citrus and green apple alongside malt, vanilla and light touches of oak and spice. The palate is intense and full, with sweet malt, ripe orchard fruit and vanilla, lifted by citrus and given structure by warm spice and oak. The finish is long and warming, with citrus, malt, vanilla and spiced oak.
