A nine-year-old Arran single malt, distilled in 2000 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 121.33 under the name Gunpowder on Lemon Meringue Pie.
It was drawn from a single Bourbon hogshead, which produced 304 bottles. This is an older Society label, from the early runs of its single cask releases.
Arran began as a non-smoky, Highland-style malt, and its spirit is generally described as showing a light cereal crunchiness behind a distinctly citric note.
