Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt from the Arran distillery on the Scottish island of Arran, bottled by the distillery at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in first-fill bourbon casks, which bring vanilla, sweet malt and a soft spice alongside citrus and fruit.
The nose has citrus, ripe fruit, vanilla and soft malt. On the palate there are apple, pear and citrus over vanilla and sweet malt. The finish is smooth, with fruit, vanilla and light spice.
