Arran – Barrel Reserve (70cl, 43%)

Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt from the Arran distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The whisky is matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks made of American oak, which gives it a soft, fruity and elegant character. The nose offers green apple, citrus, vanilla and a little honey. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, with ripe pear, creamy vanilla, light spice and soft oak. The finish is fresh, with ginger, citrus and a delicate woody note.
