Arran Barrel Reserve is a single malt from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. The spirit is unpeated.
It is matured entirely in bourbon barrels, and it is bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose shows fresh apples and pears with soft malt and gentle vanilla. The palate is light and crisp, with citrus, vanilla sweetness, ripe apple, subtle marine notes and soft oak. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering sweetness, gentle spice, citrus zest, charred oak and a touch of vanilla.
