Arran Founders Reserve is a distillery exclusive single malt from the 1995 vintage, bottled at 43% ABV. It was bottled in 2001 for the owners and bond holders of the Arran distillery, and was their first single malt.
The nose is light and delicate, with custard cream biscuits, vanilla ice cream, tropical fruit, lemon icing and cereal. The palate offers white chocolate panna cotta, spiced tropical fruit, especially pineapple, custard danish pastries and vanillin oak. The finish brings buttery shortbread, pineapple chunks, vanilla custard, white chocolate and aromatic spices.
