Machrie Moor is a peated single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery, matured in ex-bourbon casks. It is one of the last peated malts still bottled by Arran itself. Since 2019, peated whisky for the island has been made at the Lagg distillery. The nose is delicately smoky with citrus. On the palate come dried grass and peat smoke, with hints of vanilla and tropical fruit. Citrus and smoke return in the finish, along with peat and a touch of pineapple.
