Arran – Machrie Moor Cask Strength Old Bottling (70cl, 58.2%)

This is an older bottling of Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength, a peated single malt from the Arran distillery on the Isle of Arran. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 58.2% ABV, bottled at cask strength without colouring or chill filtration. The original black bottle and silver packaging mark this edition out. The nose brings peat smoke, vanilla, citrus, honey and spicy oak. The palate is full and robust, leading to a long, warming finish in which smoke, sweetness and spice come together.
