Machrie Moor is a peated single malt from Arran, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength. It is one of the last peated malts still bottled by Arran itself, as peated production has been carried out at the Lagg Distillery since 2019. The nose offers citrus with peat and smoke in the background. The palate is robust, with Arran's orchard fruit, layers of toasted brioche and red fruits. The finish returns to citrus and smoke, with a little chocolate, vanilla and a hint of coconut.
