Arran – Machrie Moor Peated Cask Strength (56.2%)

Arran Machrie Moor Peated Cask Strength is a peated single malt distilled at Lochranza, bottled at 56.2%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It takes its name from the windswept moor on Arran's west coast, known for its Bronze Age stone circles. Since 2019 all peated whisky on the island has been made at the Lagg distillery. The nose is citrus over a base of peat, with a puff of smoke. The palate is robust, with orchard fruit over toasted brioche and red berries. The finish brings citrus, smoke, chocolate, vanilla and coconut.
