Arran – Machrie Moor Peated (46%)

Arran Machrie Moor Peated is a peated single malt from Arran, bottled at 46%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It was distilled at Lochranza, and the name comes from the windswept moor on the island's west coast, with its Bronze Age stone circles. Since 2019 all peated whisky on the island has been made at the Lagg distillery. The nose is light smoke and citrus. The palate has dry grass and peat smoke, with vanilla and tropical fruit. The finish brings citrus, smoke, peat and pineapple.
