Arran – Port Cask Finish

Arran Port Cask Finish is a single malt matured first in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Port pipes. The Port finish gives it a deep red colour, a soft sweetness and ripe fruit. It is warm and full-bodied, and its label carries deep pink and berry-red accents to match the wine casks. The nose brings red berries, black cherry, warm spices, vanilla, soft oak and sweet raisin. On the palate there are dark berries, plum, chocolate, toffee, citrus and a warm spicy note. The finish is long, sweet and fruity, with subtle tannins and a hint of cocoa.
