Arran Port Cask Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 50% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
It spent about eight years maturing in traditional oak casks before being finished in Port casks from an artisan producer of the Portuguese fortified wine.
The nose offers cinnamon and baked apples. The palate brings vanilla spice, ripe citrus, dried fruits and nuttiness; a splash of water adds mandarin, fudge and honeyed notes. The finish carries spice, bitter orange, chocolate and cherries.
