Arran Quarter Cask, also called The Bothy, is a single malt from the Arran distillery on the Scottish island of Arran. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.2%, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The whisky matured in quarter casks, small oak barrels that bring the spirit into closer contact with the wood.
The nose offers vanilla, honey, ripe fruit and fresh citrus with a little oak. The palate is full and creamy, with sweet vanilla, tropical fruit and warm spices. The finish is long and warming, balancing fruit, spice and oak.
