Arran Remnant Renegade is the first release in the Signature Series from the Arran distillery on the Scottish island of Arran, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It was put together from whiskies drawn from sherry hogsheads, sherry butts and bourbon casks.
It was bottled on 20 September 2023 without added colouring or chill filtration. Each of the 14,863 bottles carries the signature of the distillery manager at Lochranza.
The nose offers ripe apples, apricots, citrus, honey and vanilla, with dried fruit and sweet spices. The palate brings red fruit, raisins, creamy vanilla, caramelised sugar and spice. The finish is warming and fruity, with oak, chocolate and soft spices.
