This is a 10 year old single malt from Arran on the Isle of Arran, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2008 at 43% ABV. The limited release of 6,000 bottles commemorates the birth of Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet, 250 years on.
The nose is zesty and bright, with sweet lemon and lime and a slightly musty, damp note. The palate is light-bodied and led by citrus fruit with a sweet edge, and late notes of mint or spearmint add freshness. The finish is of medium length and fruity.
