Arran – Sauternes Cask Finish

Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt from the Isle of Arran, first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then given a long finish in Sauternes casks from France. The finish brings dessert wine character to Arran's fresh island style, and the whisky is honeyed, fruity and creamy. The nose offers honey, apricot, ripe peach, vanilla, white grape and light spice. On the palate it is creamy and sweet, with peach, honeydew melon, vanilla cream, citrus and butter cake. The finish is long, softly sweet, slightly spicy and fruity.
