This is the Port Cask Finish from Arran, a single malt from the Isle of Arran given a second maturation in Port casks. The casks came from a small-scale producer of the Portuguese fortified wine, and master blender James MacTaggart oversaw the finishing to keep the Port influence in balance with Arran's soft, fruity character.
It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The notes are of hazelnut, strawberry jam and mandarin.
