A single malt from the Isle of Arran, finished in Sauternes casks and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The casks came from an artisan producer of the sweet white wine. Master blender James MacTaggart oversaw this second maturation, aiming to balance the influence of the Sauternes wood against Arran's soft, fruity character.
It is described as rich and fruity, with notes of spice, honey, nuts, and yellow and orchard fruit.
