Arrogant Bastard Whiskey (75cl, 48.5%)

Arrogant Bastard Whiskey is an American malt whiskey from Stone Brewing's Arrogant Consortia, bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is not a bourbon: the mash is 100% malted barley, distilled from the unfermented wort of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It was made in collaboration with Foundry Distilling Co. of West Des Moines, Iowa, where the wort is fermented, distilled and aged. This 2024 re-release spent four years or more in new charred American oak barrels. The official notes mention citrus, herbal tea and allspice on the nose and a warming, bright citrus-zest finish. Further notes add caramel, toasted oak, roasted coffee and a subtle hop character.
