Asaka – Yumeko Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl)

Yumeko is a Japanese blended whisky from the Asaka distillery, in a 70cl bottle. The name means the aromas of a dream. It is a blend of grain whisky made from maize and malt whisky. After a long fermentation it is distilled twice in Miyake stills, then aged in new oak casks and ex-bourbon casks. The colour is bright amber. The nose is delicate and floral, with ripe yellow fruit and echoes of vanilla and caramel. The palate is soft, light and balanced.
