This is Teaninich 12 Year Old from Asta Morris, a Highland single malt distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 at 51.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It matured for twelve years in French oak, cask AM160, and was limited to 633 bottles.
It is not chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose opens with subtle wood, then bright citrus and white pepper, with vanilla and juicy fruit behind. The palate is creamy and slightly sparkling, with spice, roasted fruit and a little oak. The finish is long and silky, with lime-blossom honey, creamy vanilla and a touch of wood.
