Atom Brands Wormtub (70cl)

Wormtub from Atom Brands is a Scotch single malt in a 70cl bottle, built around spirit produced with traditional worm tub condensers, a method associated with a heavier, fuller-bodied style. The range is based on sherry-finished Speyside whisky, with components of 10 and 12 years old. The nose has raisins and other dried fruit with sweet spice, candied walnuts and a rich, savoury maltiness. The palate is robust and weighty, with sherried fruit, nuts, warming spices and cured-meat-like savoury notes. The finish is rich and persistent, carrying dried fruit, spice and savoury malt.
