This is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from Auchroisk, part of Claxton's Exploration Series. It was distilled in 2013, matured in a first fill sherry hogshead and bottled in 2025 at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings raisins, dark wood and wild honey with a fine touch of clove. On the palate it is full-bodied and oily, with sultanas, milk chocolate and cinnamon. The finish is long and dry, with dark chocolate, spice and a fine fruit acidity.
