This is a 16-year-old Speyside single malt from Aultmore, bottled at 57.1% by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It belongs to the Signatory 100 Proof Edition, which is known for strong, uncoloured whiskies, and it is bottled without added colour and without chill-filtration.
It matured fully in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, which earned it the Exceptional Cask label. The whisky is described as combining spicy and herbal aromas with the nutty, fruity sweetness of the sherry casks.
