Backbone Bourbon The Forge Blended Bourbon (55%)

The Forge is a blended bourbon from Backbone Bourbon Company, bottled at 110 proof. It combines three whiskeys aged between 5 and 14 years. Straight bourbon from barrels between 5 and 7 years old makes up most of the blend, and at least 51% of it is straight bourbon. Straight rye of 8 years or more and light whiskey of 14 years or more, barrelled in 2006, complete the mix. It is the company's second blended bourbon, following Prime, which was launched in 2015 with younger whiskeys. The blend is described as rich and decadent.
