A 17 year old blended Scotch whisky from Ballantine's, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was named Scotch Blend of the Year for 2010, and is described as biscuity and thick in body.
The nose is feinty, with smoke, a touch of mochaccino, leather, Madeira and a little chocolate. On the palate it is balanced, with cut herbs, a defined vegetal character, fresh citrus, fudge and a touch of peat smoke. The finish is fruity before turning dry.
