This is a single cask Balmenach from Speyside, distilled in 2007 and matured for 12 years in a wine cask. It was bottled for the Hepburn's Choice series at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 379 bottles.
On the nose there are nutty biscuits, a touch of lychee and apricot. The palate brings oaky vanilla with summer berries and a little almond, and the finish is bright and citrusy.
