This is a 2010 vintage single malt from Balmenach in Speyside, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle as part of the Alba Trail series.
Balmenach was probably founded around 1824 by James McGregor and draws its water from the Cromdale Burn. Production stopped on several occasions and began again in March 1998. The distillery is now owned by Inver House Distillers.
