It matured in an Oloroso Sherry Butt and is bottled at cask strength, with 309 bottles produced worldwide. It is non-peated, with no colouring and no chill filtration.
On the nose there are raisins and figs, carried by warm nougat and dark chocolate. The palate shows unbridled cask-strength intensity, combining creamy caramel and ripe dates with a fine nutty walnut note.
