This Speyside single malt hails from The Balvenie distillery in Banffshire, where it is matured in traditional whisky casks for 14 years, then further matured in casks that previously held rum distilled in the Caribbean. The rum itself is a blend created by Malt Master, David C. Stewart, specially selected to create the ideal complement to The Balvenie's honeyed character.
